These ceramic bearings create 1/10 the friction of steel bearings, so you'll experience a faster ride even with less effort.
The balls in the bearings are made of silicon-nitrate, thanks to which they weigh 60% less than steel balls from ordinary bearings. At the same time, the estimated lifespan of ceramic bearings is up to 5 times higher!
Thanks to the material used, the bearings also do not heat up too much - micro-friction does not occur in them, as the surface is not so adhesive. At the same time, ceramics do not expand as much at elevated temperatures. In short - the bearings are not destroyed as quickly as when using steel.
