Spineo Fingerboard Battle 2025
We invite you to our first fingerboarding event of the 2025 season and the second Fingerboard Battle. We are continuing with the proven structure, so you can look forward to intense battles and lots of fun with friends. It doesn’t matter if you are just starting with fingerboarding, practice regularly, or are a seasoned pro who first rode a fingerboard 15 years ago.
Maximum number of competitors is 32. If more than 16 riders register, we will begin with a qualification round on a pre-set park, where each participant will have one minute. During this minute, every rider will showcase their best tricks or just enough to secure a spot among the top 16. After the qualification round, the top 16 will proceed to the main competition, which is the GAME OF SKATE (GOS). The order and pairings will be drawn randomly, and we will compete in a knockout format. Your skill is the key factor, but a little bit of luck can also help.
To relieve the tension, everyone can participate in the Best Trick category. We will select a ramp in advance, where you can show your most creative and impressive tricks. The winner will get to take the ramp home too!
The elimination bracket at Spineo is tough, and only 8 competitors will make it to the quarterfinals, where they will once again meet at our designated GOS table. From the 8 quarterfinalists, 4 will advance to the semifinals, and among them, we will determine the two finalists and the two competitors who will battle for third place.

Basic GOS Rules
- Two competitors determine who starts by playing "rock, paper, scissors".
- The starting player sets the trick to be performed (if they cannot name it, they can demonstrate it).
- The trick is then executed:
- If successfully landed, the opponent must repeat it. If they succeed, they set the next trick without receiving a letter. If they fail, they receive a letter.
- If the trick setter fails, they lose their turn, and the opponent gets to set the next trick.
- The game continues until one competitor collects all five letters from the word SKATE.
- The winner advances to the next round and competes against the next opponent according to the bracket.
