Bones Reds Bearings Ceramic (8ks)
The story of how Ceramic REDS™ bearings came about is very simple. Take the highest grade from Bones in the Super REDS™ series, replace the steel balls with Grade 5, which are heat isostatically pressed ceramic balls.
Bones Ceramic REDS™ are not only lighter but also offer better acceleration as the balls themselves are significantly lighter. They create less friction and are therefore faster. Ceramic Super REDS™ can be used with or without lubricant. If you get your ceramic bearings dirty, don't despair, but even ceramic balls can clean their axles on their own. It is a so-called self-cleaning effect, as it is known that ceramics are harder than steel.
Ceramic REDS™ can be recognized by the matte-white color of the label and the laser-engraved name on the outer axes. These bearings are widely used by professional speed skaters.
