Rollerblade Macroblade 110 3WD are the long-term market leader among fitness tri-skates. The comfort and assembly of the Macroblade boot is difficult to beat, especially when combined with the popular fastening method and fast wheel variant.
The variant of three 110 mm wheels will serve all moderately advanced and advanced riders. The 3x110mm wheels are slightly faster than the 4x90mm wheel layout. In addition, they have very good dexterity and controllability. Their performance focus is underlined by Rollerblade Hydrogen wheels with hardness of 85A, which are of the best quality for Rollerblade wheels.
The shoe itself is ventilated to the maximum, the foot does not get wet inside, and at the same time it sits on the foot like a sock. The inner lining is richly padded in the area of the ankle, heel and toe. In addition, it molds to the foot over time. The outer boot is made of a breathable, pleasant to wear mesh material, the toe area is strengthened to maintain its shape during higher speeds and thereby increases the durability of the front part of the shoe.
The skates are tightened by the speedlacing SL2 mechanism. The soft handle is easy to pull, secures the foot and can then be easily hidden in the pouch on the tongue. In addition, the laces follow the design of the outer boot, so that the shoe wraps around the foot when tightened. An aluminum clip provides stability in the ankle, and the heel is held in place by a velcro fastener above the instep.
The outer boot made of mesh is breathable and very well ventilated. The construction around the ankle provides the necessary stability and support, thanks to which the transfer of rebound energy is as high as possible.
The 3WD aluminum Twinblade frame ensures optimal energy transfer to the rebound. It has a low center of gravity, thanks to which the skates are well controlled despite the larger wheels. The frame is 11.4 inches long, which gives it very good stability at higher speeds.
High-performance Hydrogen wheels do have better grip and durability than basic wheel models. The Hydrogen model is particularly proud of premium polyurethane, which extends the lifespan of the wheels, which means they last almost twice as much. The quality of the material is also proven by the fact that the grip remains almost the same after several layers have been removed. Thereby they can be compared to new ones.
Twincam ILQ-9 Classic Plus bearings are oiled with solid TK-Gel grease for the longest possible quiet skating and long lifespan. The exclusive six-ball bearings have minimal friction, which improves the overall performance of the bearings.
Tri-skates have many advantages. Due to the smaller number of wheels, they have lower weight. The middle wheel is exactly under the shoe at the center of gravity and thus helps to improve the controllability of the skates. Also, if you often walk on an uneven surface, larger wheels will help you overcome unevenness more easily than, for example, four smaller wheels.
