FR Skates FRXP Coral
The FRXP model is very similar to the entry-level FRX model. They are the same especially in the outer boot and inner liner. The FRXP even uses the frame used by the FRX before the X2R rocker technology was introduced. This means that the FRXP has a frame with axles for tightening from both sides and does not have rockering. However, the frame powerfully meets all the requirements for urban skating. So if you don't care about rockering, FRXP is still an attractive and cheaper option when choosing urban skates.
As you may have seen with other models from FR, sliders or side protectors protect the shoe against scratches. FRXP also has such a slider.
The length of the frame pitch is 165mm, which is a common size for freeskate style. In practice, this means that if you eventually want to get bigger wheels, you can mount a bigger frame on this boot.
Tightening is done with classic laces, a clip on the ankle and a 45 degree pump ratchet on the instep. The taller FRX model only has velcro on the boot, so you could say the FRXP has even better foot support after the skates are laced up.
The FRXP model has a more basic 243mm X-frame along with average FR wheels and ABEC 7 bearings. This combination makes FRXP universal and reliable skates, with which you will feel excellent agility while riding.
So, in general, the FRXP model is suitable for beginners and advanced skaters who want to start skating, or jump down a few stairs. They provide an excellent introduction to slides and freeride as well. They are really reliable, have a proven shoe construction and represent a budget alternative to the higher FRX model.
