Bauer RSX
Bauer RSX is an excellent model for beginners and amateur hockey players. Compared to the RS model, the RSX differs mainly in the improvement of the tongue, which is now stronger and reinforced, which is useful for protection against pucks, hockey sticks and even pressure from tightened laces.
The boot has Quarter Package technology, which means it is one-piece with a composite fabric. The construction of the shoe offers 15% more ankle support and will fit you perfectly "out of the box". The integrated outer lamellae improve the overall appearance and also the support of the ankle.
The Anaform Foam technology adapts the inner boot to your foot, and the Microfiber system keeps it dry thanks to good moisture wicking. Skates are not heat-moldable.
The reinforced 30oz tongue provides excellent protection against pucks and hockey sticks, but also offers excellent comfort and flex for explosive starts.
Underneath the boot is a two-piece Hi-Lo™ Vanguard™ Ventilator frame that holds the foot at an angle for faster acceleration and turns.
Hi-Lo Court wheels are two 80mm in the back and two 76mm in the classic hockey style. With a hardness of 76A, they are excellent for halls, indoors, but also for any smooth surface. The wheelset is completed with Hi-Lo™ Abec 5608 bearings.
