Skate bearings are one of the most important parts of skates. As a rule, they are made of steel. Inside there is a cage that holds the balls. The accuracy of the processing of the balls inside is indicated by the Abec standard. But don't be fooled by this standard. Brand name Abec 5 bearings are often much better than "no name" Abec 9 bearings.
