Determining the current "Own Zone":

Fitness Test:
The test to determine the Fitness Index is performed lying down after previously setting the parameters of the subject. The own Fitness Index is the result of a test that allows you to determine maximum aerobic performance in a simple, reliable and quick way. The own Index is based on SF values, SF variability at rest, body composition and self-assessment of the level of physical activity. The state of aerobic fitness or the performance of the cardiovascular system expresses the quality of this system's activity in supplying the body with oxygen. A higher level of fitness means that the heart is more powerful and works more efficiently. The data determined by the device within approx. 5 minutes can be evaluated in addition to the absolute assessment using a seven-point scale also in relation to the population. The value of the Fitness Index is expressed by the VO2max value.
Fitness program:
The STAR fitness program developed by POLAR is a quite unique tool for permanent improvement and maintenance of fitness. The device plans training units based on the current state of fitness (presented by the Own Index - the VO2max value determined by the Fitness Test) and whether you want to reduce body weight, maintain or maximize the body's fitness. It adapts the dose of the duration of the activity to the intensity of the load and distributes this intensity to individual SF zones. You can then further change the schedule yourself. After that, all you have to do is exercise according to the planned training units, and the device automatically alerts you to the extent to which you can follow the planned training.
Strengthening program:
The strengthening program included in this model helps in optimal strength development.
