Griptapes

Griptape is an important scooter part, as it can affect the success rate and quality of the trick. A new griptape has rough, grainy surface, so you can hold on to it better than a worn one, which already has a rubbed off surface. So if your griptape is already slippery, it's time to replace it, because it could cause tricks to fail or even cause an injury.

All griptapes are self-adhesive, so you can stick them to the deck like a sticker. If you are applying griptape to your original deck, make sure the surface of the deck is relatively clean so the new griptape can stick firmly. When working with a griptape, we recommend removing the deck and rear wheel. When the griptape sticks, just cut it with a knife according to the contours of the deck and drill holes for the brake if necessary.
