The Source MIPS helmet combines technological sophistication and above-average safety with the design of a modern trail helmet. 17 ventilation holes, supported by internal channels, can keep the head at the right temperature even during the summer.
The comfortable fit of the helmet is provided by the Roc Loc 5 clamping system, into which the MIPS insert is integrated. The label is positionable and secured with screws. Resistance against everyday abrasions is guaranteed by polycarbonate, which covers the shell and the bottom. Extended neck protection is a matter of course
What is MIPS (Multidirectional Impact Protection System) and how does it work?
MIPS is a slippery insert between the EPS shell (helmet body) and the inner liners. In the event of an impact at an angle (for example, when you catch a branch with your head), the EPS shell of the helmet rotates a few millimeters after the MIPS layer, protecting the head and brain from a violent rotational jerk.
