SLACKLINING IN THE PAST
Before GIBBON, Slacklining was an extreme activity exclusive to an elite group of climbers. Slacklining was a side activity in bad weather for climbers at base camp in the early 1970s. Development was lacking due to climbers who immediately approached great heights, making it inaccessible from the beginning. From the beginning, it was technically too complicated, which is why specialist climbers, who were used to such technical challenges, dominated.
