Freestyle Scooters

Freestyle Scooters

Freestyle scooters have a fixed height. Therefore, according to the size chart, choose the correct size according to the total height or the height of the handlebars. Individual models are divided into those intended for the skatepark, equipped with Y-shaped handlebars and a more compact board, and those intended for street / doing tricks on the street. The latter has T-shaped handlebars, a slightly higher weight and a larger board with angular shapes. Models with aluminum handlebars usually have lower weight, on the other hand, those equipped with steel handlebars last longer.

The type of compression system is also key for freestyle scooters. Threaded is the cheapest and is used only in beginner scooters. IHC, HIC and SCS systems are more modern and widespread. IHC is generally used on narrower handlebars. SCS is the strongest compression system of them all, and if you want to save some weight, choose the version with the HIC system.
